Nearly 10 years ago, The Great East Japan Earthquake occurred. We remember it like it was yesterday. We experienced the large tremors of the Earthquake, Tsunami and the “Nuclear power plant accident". And it was really difficult to live with the radioactivity, because it is a fear which cannot be seen with our eyes. Many people had bad impressions and blamed us, just because of "Fukushima". It was really sad for us more than anything. However, many people around the world, including many British people, supported and helped us through these years. It was an emotional support for us.
In this decade, we were able to meet a lot of people because of the triple disaster. In these many encounters, we learned the hard way that we could go forward if we help and support each other. We really appreciate these experiences. After the Great East Japan earthquake, we love Fukushima even more than ever. Even if there was a disaster, people help each other. Even if we suffer from harmful rumours, we continue to grow our crops. Even if there are serious hardships, we will try to overcome these difficulties. That's what we are really proud of our Fukushima. We want to proudly say that "because of the disaster, Fukushima has become wonderful." And, we want to make Fukushima even more wonderful.
During 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic was prevalent in the world. We hope and expect that this situation will improve. At the time of the Great East Japan earthquake, we have been able to overcome many difficulties and hardships, so we are sure that we'll be able to overcome this pandemic as well. Then someday we would like to visit many countries, and we wish to perform in various countries. Also, we would like to extend an invitation to you to come and visit us here in Japan someday!
Thank you for your kindness.
